Rain or Shine, the Show Will Go On!
Calgary’s weather can be as unpredictable as it is exciting! From sunny skies to sudden rain or even a quick chill, it's always best to be prepared for anything. While we can’t control the weather, rest assured that all events are designed with flexibility in mind, and we have indoor accommodations ready at all locations to keep you comfortable, no matter what. Just pack layers and a sense of adventure, and you'll be ready for whatever Calgary has in store!

Transportation for Home Dinners
If you're attending a home-hosted dinner, your Rotarian host should have already contacted you directly with:

- Dress code and timing information
If you have any questions about your transportation arrangements, please reach out to your host club contact.

Transportation for Large Events & Out-of-City Locations
All guests attending large venues or out-of-town events will travel by coach or school bus provided by Rotary.
Transportation Overview
- 53 buses will be transporting guests to 28 Rotary club events.
- Coach buses will serve events outside Calgary.
- School buses will serve events within Calgary city limits.
- Each attendee is pre-assigned to a specific event and bus.
- Buses will be clearly labelled with the event name and bus number.
- Return times vary by event—please check your assignment details for timing.

Arrival & Departure Instructions

- Bus boarding details have been shared with you via email from your host club.
All buses depart from: - Lot 3, south end of the Big Four Roadhouse, Stampede Park
- Maps – Convention Campus | Calgary 2025 HOC
- Look for the check-in tent and volunteers to guide you.
- Buses will depart on schedule and cannot wait for late guests.
On-Site Check-In Process
- Check in at the Tent in Lot 3 near the Big Four (see event map).
- Volunteers will confirm your assignment and direct you to the correct staging area.
- Follow signage and volunteer guidance for boarding your assigned bus.
Missed Buses
- For in-city events: Guests are responsible for arranging alternative transport (e.g., taxi, Uber).
- For out-of-city events: Unfortunately, no alternate transportation is available.
Accessibility Support
If you have requested accessible transportation, a team member will contact you with your specific travel arrangements.
Volunteer Wayfinders
Our dedicated Wayfinder Volunteers will be on-site to help you:
- Navigate Stampede Grounds
- Find your assigned bus
- Answer questions and provide a warm Rotary welcome
Return Transportation Details
Return trips will begin following the conclusion of your assigned event.
- Guests staying at RI-designated hotels will be dropped off directly at their hotel if it is part of the RI shuttle route.
- All other guests will be returned to Stampede Park, at Lot 3, Big Four Roadhouse.

You can use your Rotary Name Badge to access the C Train network. Victoria Park/Stampede Station is the
closer of the two to the Big Four Roundhouse Building.
- For your convenience, taxis will be available near the edge of Lot 3 following all Signature Events. Uber and Lyft pickups will be located in Lot 11.
