Rotary International Convention 2025
Between June 21 to June 25, 2025, Calgary will proudly host the Rotary International Convention, a landmark event that is anticipated to draw between 20,000 and 30,000 delegates from across the globe. Supported by Tourism Calgary and the Calgary Stampede, this convention promises to be one of the city’s most significant gatherings since the 1988 Olympics, showcasing the exceptional hospitality Calgary is known for.
This convention will be a celebration of Rotary’s commitment to serving those in need, fostering friendships, and making a positive impact worldwide. To ensure a memorable experience for all attendees, we are assembling a dynamic team of over 1,000 volunteers. These volunteer opportunities are open to anyone who wants to help showcase our city and create a memorable experience for our guests. Potential volunteers include members of our Rotary family, friends of Rotary, students, business people and other proud Calgarians. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
We’ll offer a variety of volunteer roles to match a wide range of interests and skills, providing everyone a chance to contribute to this global gathering. Join us in showcasing our city and making the 2025 Rotary International Convention a resounding success!
Volunteer Opportunities
Airport Terminal – Arrivals Area
First greeting for delegates at arrival gates
Help the delegates navigate around Calgary, to their hotels and to Stampede Grounds and BMO Convention Centre
Answer any questions about the Convention, Registration and the Program.
Help answer frequently asked questions. A list of common FAQ’s will be provided
Public Transit & C-Train Stations
Help the delegates navigate public transit, including C-Train stations
Help the delegates navigate around Calgary; to their hotels, Stampede Grounds/BMO Convention Centre, other locations throughout the city
Convention Campus
(Volunteers require paid registration to be in convention facilities)
Help the delegates navigate around the Stampede Grounds and BMO Convention Centre. Help them find Registration, House of Friendship and locations of general and breakout sessions.
