White Hat Ceremony 

During the show Mayor Jyoti Gondeck and Tourism Calgary CEO, Alisha Reynolds will be conducting a White Hat Ceremony and making you an Honorary Calgarian.  You will join such notables as Queen Elizabeth II, William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, world leaders like Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, and George W., Bush; the Dali Lama, Pope John Paul II, and entertainers such as Bob Dylan, Bob Hope, Marilyn Monroe, Luciano Pavarotti, Oprah Winfrey, Kevin Costner, Walt Disney and even Mickey Mouse. 

You can purchase your White Hat at World Famous Smithbilt Calgary Hat | Calgary 2025 HOC and pick it up during the day at the House of Friendship.  Alternatively, you can purchase a What Hat at the Grandstand when you arrive. 

Rain or Shine, the Show Will Go On! 

The good folks at the Calgary Stampede have assured us that they are committed to supporting Rotarians in the event of inclement weather during the Grandstand Spectacular. Current forecasts suggest the weather may be cool and wet, so we encourage all attendees to come prepared with appropriate clothing such as rain jackets and warm layers.  Should the weather take a turn, the Stampede team will prioritize placing guests to covered seating, helping to ensure everyone remains comfortable and safe.  We’re grateful for their support and dedication to making this a memorable experience, rain or shine. 

And yes…WARM drinks will be available.

Times 

• Gates open at 7:00pm 
• The show starts at 8:00pm and will last until approx.. 10:30pm 

Arriving at Stampede Park 

Use your Rotary Name badge to access the C Train, which you depart at either station, however, the Erlton/Stampede Station is the closer of the two to the Grandstand. 

If you are arriving by taxi, UBER, etc. simply advise the driver you would “like to be dropped as close to the Grandstand at Stampede Park as is possible”. 

Tickets 

Your tickets were sent via email and we will be scanning the QR code of your ticket(s) upon entry.  If you don’t have tickets: 

You can log into the Customer Portal in the top-right of this scree to retrieve them, or; 

           Just look for "Sign In" , (Preferred approach) or;

We can access your tickets with your name and email address at the Grandstand. 

Seating 

Tickets are not assigned, seats are first come, first served. 

Refreshments 

Concessions will be open serving a variety of snack, non-alcoholic, as well as alcoholic beverages. 

Washrooms 

There are ample washrooms in the facility.  All washrooms are accessible. 

Transportation Options Following The Grandstand Showcase.  

You can use your Rotary Name Badge to access the C Train network.  Erlton/Stampede Station is the closer of the two to the Grandstand. 

For your convenience, taxis will be available near the edge of Lot 3 following all Signature Events.  Uber and Lyft pickups will be located in Lot 11.
